   Wild Wildflower
 -----------------

You can take a swing at me,
And another swing,
And one more swing.
But forever standing up I'll be,
A littler thing,
A stronger thing.

You've spilled a puddle of blood not red,
You've thought that, by now, I'd be dead,
I'll not fall like those before,
I'll raise from an inch above the floor.

My friends now are just scattered around,
But their lost souls empower mine,
Every fallen head is more strength found,
You'll not kill me with a simple tine.
I shall stand where they could not,
Because they feed me with their blood,
It won't end as you had thought,
My roots won't move from this mud.

I grew up from just a seed,
A powerful seed,
A wind-tossed seed.
You do kill me, there'll be more weeds,
More flowery weeds,
More strengthened weeds.

Rock-hard pure determination,
Is my strongest power,
So go ahead and fight my nation,
For you won't beat this wildflower.
